Frequently Asked Questions
How long have you guys been doing this?
We filmed our very first wedding in 2014. In 2016 we had our busiest year covering 55 weddings!
How would you describe your style?
We offer a mix of documentary and cinematic style. For the most part, we capture the day how it happens - the candid interactions between you and your guests - in beautiful and subtle detail. The only staging and posing we will ask of you will be after the ceremony during the time when you're taking romantic photos with your photographer. The rest of the day, you just focus on getting married and having a good time.
Do you provide photography services?
No we do not. However we definitely have some preferred photographers we would love to recommend you to!
Will you get along with the photography team I have already hired?
Yes. Before every wedding we make sure to reach out to them so we can discuss how best to coordinate your day.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use multiple Nikon D750's and our Drone is a DJI Phantom 3. We shoot in 1920x1080p, the same quality as a blu-ray disk.
What does "Full Day Filming" actually mean?
Our usual day is around 8 hours. However we're pretty flexible with how much coverage we provide. We insist on arriving when the bride is almost done with hair & make up, and will stay until all the reception formalities. Last events we usually cover are bouquet/garter toss and cake cutting. Then we'll stay a little after to capture the open dancing.
My wedding venue requires liability insurance, will you be able to provide this?
Yes we have up to 2 million in coverage.
How much extra is drone footage?
We do not charge for the drone footage. It is complimentary. We only fly it whenever there are no restrictions (ie: airport or military bases) We do not fly during the rain.
What is a Same Day Edit Video and do you provide it?
Yes we have done SDE's before, however dates are especially limited. Contact us for further information.
I want to hire you guys, what steps should be taken?
Send us a message! We insist on scheduling a phone call or in-person consultation so we can get a feel for each other to see if we would be a good match.
Do you require a downpayment/deposit?
We do require a non-refundable $200 deposit, and the remainder of the payment is due no later than 1 day before the event.
How long in advance should we book you?
We do get pretty busy, so ideally as soon as possible!
What are your safeguard precautions?
If the unlikely event that one of our shooters gets sick and is unable to make your event, we will send another one of our own shooters in replacement. We are also equipped with back up cameras if in the unfortunate event one of our cameras gets damaged while on your wedding day.
Have you filmed a tea ceremony before?

Do you attend the rehearsal?
